Debut
T-ara made its debut on the show MBC Radio Star on July 29, 2009. The music video was released that same day. Their first performance was on Mnet M! Countdown, where he was "Lies" and "Wanna Play?". His debut was viewed negatively by some musical content websites, where people said they thought it was a primary action. On December 1, 2009, T-ara released their first full length album, named Absolute First Album. The album spawned two singles that were very successful, Bo Peep Bo Peep and Like The First Time, both with music videos.
2011
In June 2011, it was announced that T-ara would be making a comeback with the song Roly Poly the first day of that month. It was also announced that the group moved into the Japanese market.
As of June 14, 2011, the media announced that Hyomin would take the lead on this album and their promotions in Japan.
T-ara's music video recorded Roly-Poly and the song was released on June 29, this, reached # 1 on Cyworld, GomTV, Bugs, Nate and Mnet only after an hour.
T-ara released their first single in Japanese, Bo Peep Bo Peep, Sept. 28. This single also has a Japanese version of "I go crazy because of you" call "love me".

2012
In July 2012, a dispute arose because the members of T-ara Hwayoung seemed harass via Twitter after the concert Budokan in Japan.
